To everyone in Japan

Hello, I am Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of Japan.

The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Japan have built bonds of friendship and cooperation over the years.

Japan is a world leader in many fields, including technological innovation, education and infrastructure development, and is a very important partner for us in the Congo.

Our country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is blessed with rich natural resources, beautiful scenery and diverse cultures, yet at the same time, we are grappling with many challenges in the direction of economic growth, peacebuilding and sustainable development.

Japan's experience and knowledge is extremely valuable to us in addressing these challenges.

Currently, we are working to further deepen the relationship between our two countries.

I believe that by strengthening partnership especially in the areas of education, healthcare, environmental protection, infrastructure development and mining, our two countries can carve out a bright future together.

Cultural exchanges are also an important means of strengthening our ties. Japan's harmony between traditional culture and modern innovation inspires people all over the world. Meanwhile, I am sure that the Japanese people will also enjoy our rich music, dance and arts.

As we build our future together, we in the Democratic Republic of the Congo would like to express our gratitude to the people of Japan for their warm support and cooperation, and we sincerely hope that our two countries will join forces to build a better tomorrow.
